BUSINESS MODEL
– Solar system is to be given to 100 homesteads close to each other hey will start earning for the excess energy they sell to us after full recovery of invested capital in installations of the system.
– Project is subsidized by Uganda’s government which gives $0.362 for each Kwh of photovoltaic energy produced.
– It is also subsidized by the Rural Electrification Agency under the government which is laying cables to transmit electricity.
– The excess electricity got will be distributed to 50homes without panels in the same village, small scale industries for value addition of agricultural produce eg in running milling machines.
